This sumptious piece of hand-crafted framed woven art is part of the 'Limestone' series, reminiscent of the limestone rock strata along the south coast. A wide array of natural yarns create a very tactile and textural piece, with a contemporary feel.

I love to use natural fibres, such as wool, cotton, linen, alpaca yarn, silk, and gorgeous hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns. I also love using recycled sari silk and velvet ribbons, and yarns that would have been thrown away - always with an eye towards sustainability.

 

I do have some light frames available - contact me to switch this weaving into the same frame as the large 'Chalk cliffs'  piece!
